Blog #10 My Metacognitive Experience
During this, I have gained valuable skills that will help me in the future semesters I will take. I learned one of the things that I needed the most, I learned how to understand where the authors coming from and how to figure out what he/she is trying to get across in their passage this will benefit me extremely in the future, for I'll have to take multiple English and reading classes. Considering that I want to be a photographer for a magazine, I will have to know the skills so that I can write captions to my photos and convey if I am informing or persuading someone, to know what words to use to create that feeling. I need to know how to create these emotions or facts that people rely on or can relate too. Thanks to my reading teacher I now know how to understand and break down what the author is trying to say.
